The Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies (IAMPS) is the established vehicle to take the dreams and vision of its founders, members and stakeholders to the Charter Status destination for subsequent transformation, upon final endorsement by the National Assembly, into the Institute of Arts Management & Professionals (IAP).
The IAP seeks to advance the course, roles, objectives and quality management of all aspects of the arts. The Charter will set the professional standard frameworks for regulation and control of every aspect of the arts in Nigeria. Its training, both theoretical and practical, shall provide administrators, students, researchers, governments, policy decision makers and other stakeholders the springboard for leadership and entrepreneurship in the arts. It will also connect, for constructive and beneficial engagements, arts management in global outlook in similar firstly, and superior fashion secondly, as the sciences. In this regard, IAP will innovatively collaborate with tertiary institutions and other professional bodies, for professional training programmes, accreditation purposes, for standardization and uniformity of the arts management curricula.
